The process of injecting the cells produced in a special laboratory environment using a skin sample taken from a person’s own skin into the same person is called “stem cell therapy”. Cells called as fibroblast are used in the stem cell therapy.
For stem cell therapy, a 3 mm diameter skin sample from a non-sun-exposed area – back of ear- and some blood are collected. The skin sample and the blood taken are sent to an approved private laboratory with experience. In this laboratory, fibroblast cells in the middle layer of the skin are separated and replicated. The resulting fibroblast cells are injected with special needles into the middle layer of the skin. A total of 3 sessions are performed per month.
The effect of stem cell therapy lasts an average of 2-3 years. Skin structure, age, smoking habits can change the duration of treatment. If the stem cell treatments are performed in conjunction with other cosmetic applications (such as laser, radiofrequency), the duration of action is prolonged.
