CHEMICAL PEELING
The controlled damage of the outer layers of the skin with chemical agents is called as chemical peeling. Various acidic and basic agents are applied to the skin for peeling.
Factors related to the skin allowing wound healing in the area of damage caused by chemical peeling leads to the formation of new skin. While the new skin is formed, the collagen and elastic fiber structure which provides flexibility to the skin are renewed.
